You have to be in it ... to win it

How do you get to that level of trust where you begin to walk your spiritual path? Everyone has their own story.
For some people it's a huge awakening. For others, like me, there are quite a number of small things that happen until you become quite sure that you are always being guided and helped.
But how do you get through those layers of unworthiness and not good enoughs where you can even believe that you matter, that you are heard?
I would like to share with you when many years ago, I was a new mom, a new homeowner, wife, living in a new neighborhood where I really didn't know anyone.
I had decided to leave my full-time job because I could not imagine leaving a newborn baby with a stranger. (That is what is expected in America. Maternity leave is 6 weeks and then it's back to work again even if your infant is not yet sleeping through the night.)
(And as a side note, if we put the thought out there in the Universe that this is not right, we start to create an energy shift to change this. We should not readily accept things that create hardships.)
Very soon after my daughter was born, my husband's company did a restructuring where it ended all the overtime pay. This was something we had depended on for paying the bills. Our safety net was gone.
Any type of major change adds stress to your life but when something extra is thrown into the mix, it can definitely throw you out of whack.
I did go to church once a week, not really having the desire to follow the Catholic beliefs but I loved the part of the service that connected us with Jesus.
Like many religions, I had layers and layers of unworthiness placed upon me by the church teachings. However, I could always feel the love in the words and messages taught by Jesus.
During one of these masses, the priest said the church was running a 50/50 raffle. You buy a ticket, and the winning ticket will win half of the pot. To encourage more people to buy tickets the priest said, "you have to be in it to win it".
A little voice inside me said to take that advice and I did buy a ticket.
Much to my surprise and delight, the phone rang and I was the winner of the 50/50! When I went to collect the prize, the priest told me it was the most money they had ever collected, and my half was $935!
It's little miracles like this that began putting me on the path of believing that we are heard.

The phrase, you have to be in it to win it is telling us that we do have to be a part of what we desire, no matter how minimal it may seem.
Whatever you desire in life, take that first step forward. Let go of the control and the timing. And please understand that I am not suggesting you to start buying lottery tickets. It doesn't work if we direct and instruct our Angels and Guides of how we want to receive it. That's trying to control the situation.
To be in the flow, we ask for help, we ask for what we hope for and then can add the statement, or something even better.
I share this with you so that if you're feeling stuck, if you're feeling like you don't know what you're doing, just take that one little step.
Listen to your inner voice. Trust in yourself. Trust in your Angels. Know that you are heard. We are all heard.
Imagine, image, every human letting go of worry and taking that step knowing that the Universe is supporting them.
This is how we begin shifting the vibration on the planet and moving into a higher vibration of co-creation, which is working with Creator Source so that we can experience a better life here on Earth.
We are all meant to live, grow, and evolve.
If something doesn't go as you hoped, just remember that it wasn't for your highest good. And sometimes there's a greater lesson that is being learned. From our 3D perspective, we never know what is for our highest and best.
We are always learning lessons. As long as you are willing to be in it, you will win it and sometimes in the most unexpected ways.
